Tight practice sessions at Suzuka have fueled the bunched odds for Japanese Grand Prix fastest lap, with McLaren's Oscar Piastri topping FP2 on 1:28.813 ahead of teammate Lando Norris, Mercedes' George Russell, and Red Bull's Max Verstappen by mere tenths, signaling parity among the top four teams. Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli impressed in long runs, bolstering his trader support amid strong qualifying simulations, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton lurk close in sector times through high-speed 130R and Spoon curves. Track evolution, low tire degradation on mediums, and late-race soft tire pushes heighten upset potential, reflecting the wisdom of crowds in this razor-thin consensus.
